QTS FTW1 DC2
The QTS-FTW1-DC2 data center includes a ground up, two-story 325,000-sf data center on the existing QTS campus in Fort Worth, TX. The scope includes construction, build-out of four 10.5MW data halls, coordination and tie-in of the medium voltage loop to an in-progress substation, and expansion of telecom fiber loop. The building originally started as a standard build utilizing UPS PODs with STSs and PDUs and changed mid project to remove PODs and introduce an N+1+1 electrical redundancy utilizing two reserve busways looping between the first and second floor data hall pairs. The low voltage system on the house electrical side also includes redundancy through a backup 1.5MW generator and dual fed network racks and cooling also utilizing the four reserve lineups.
