The Mountrail County Courthouse expansion included a two-story addition to the existing jail and historic courthouse. The addition included 20 new jail cells, vehicle sally port, intake/release, master control, laundry, food service, recreation, and other support space.

The Law Enforcement Center included the sheriff’s department, emergency operations center dispatch, jail administration, evidence, and other support spaces.
